2018 Instructional Technology Mini-Conference

The 2018 Instructional Technology Mini-Conference will be held on Friday, July 13 here at Virginia Western. This is a no-cost, one-day conference and professional development opportunity open to all faculty and staff from Virginia Western Community College, New River Community College, and Central Virginia Community College.

Dr. Barbara Lockee, a full Professor in the Instructional Design and Technology program within the School of Education at Virginia Tech, will be our keynote speaker. Her topic is The Magic is in the Mix: Strategies for Engaging and Retaining Adult Online Learners

A series of breakout sessions will follow the keynote speech. Topics will include:
